Our Mission

...is to introduce affordable, fun, imaginative, Green, and healthy holiday events to the community.  We are tireless in our efforts to show that holiday fun can be Eco-friendly. Neither political nor activist, Los Angeles Costume Swap offers simple ideas that make going healthy and Green a gradual and affordable process rather than an all-or-nothing plunge. 


Community support is rapidly growing. We welcome Eco-friendly and small businesses who would like to collaborate with LACS for product samples and freebies which are given away at events and as contest prizes.

Los Angeles Costume Swap is a non-profit grass roots campaign inspiring adults, parents, kids and youth community centers to make healthier and Earth-friendly choices.

We have two goals

1. Introduce kids to Halloween candy alternatives that will help prevent life threatening adult obesity.

2. Show that celebrating Halloween in Green ways is not only just as much fun but more fun while helping parents and single adults save money.
